Students in this ensemble study and perform music from the standard wind band repertoire. A great deal of time in each class is devoted to developing aural skills and musical understanding.

Junior High Band is open to any student who has played an instrument for a minimum of two years, or students with less experience who have attained the necessary proficiency on their instruments.

Junior High Band meets every other day, period 9, and students also receive instrument-specific instruction at a weekly small group lesson.
