Students in this ensemble study and perform music from the standard wind band repertoire, and a great deal of time in each class is devoted to developing aural skills and musical understanding. Wind Ensemble meets every other day, and students also receive instrument-specific instruction at a weekly small group lesson. Wind Ensemble is open to any student who has played an instrument for a minimum of two years, or students with less experience who have attained the necessary proficiency on their instruments.
