The East Rochester School District only accepts applications for the specific job openings posted on this website or advertised in the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle. Please do not send unsolicited, non-specific applications. Follow the mailing instructions in each individual posting - we do not have a central personnel office. You should include the Monroe County Schools Application (see below for more information).

The East Rochester School District uses the Monroe County Common Application (here). If you are interested in applying for on-call substitute teaching, you may inquire at the Junior/Senior High School office. Substitutes need to be fingerprinted before they can go on our substitute lists. Substitute applications must include the following:
- A copy of the completed Monroe County Schools Professional Application.
- A placement file (or transcripts and written recommendations).
- A copy of all NYS Teacher Certificates.
- Proof of fingerprinting.
- Resume and Cover Letter.
