Free Meals Program extended
Posted on 10/19/2020
LunchThe United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) recently announced the Free Meals Program has been extended through the end of the 2020-21 school year. The extension runs through June 30, 2021. In September, the USDA had extended the program through December 31, 2020.

In the event the Federal free meals program ends, we will transition back to the paid, reduced and free meal status of students, using the free and reduced meal applications. Families should continue to apply for free or reduced meals using the application that was available on the district website in late July. The application can be found on the district website, here. Applications should be returned to East Rochester Schools, 222 Woodbine Avenue, East Rochester, NY 14445.

Any changes to this program will be communicated on the East Rochester Schools website.

Meals for remote learners (both hybrid and fully remote) are available for pick-up from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. outside the main entrance of the ER school building.

***East Rochester Union Free School District will be running under the SFSP guidelines for remote meals. All SFSP meals are free to all children 18 years of age and younger or enrolled in the district.
