New York State Travel Guidelines

Governor Cuomo recently updated previously issued travel restrictions for anybody entering New York State. Rather than requiring a 14-day quarantine of anybody traveling from states and territories on the “hot spot” advisory list, travelers entering New York State can now test out of the 14-day quarantine. 

To test out, travelers need to test negative for COVID-19 within three days of leaving their state and arriving in New York. Travelers must then quarantine for three days upon arrival in New York, then must obtain another negative test on the fourth day after arriving (excluding contiguous states).
