ER Elementary held their annual Veterans' Day Assembly on November 10, inviting veterans, active duty military and reservists to the school.
The event was the best attended yet. Veterans, Active Duty Military, and Reservists enjoyed several songs sang by Mrs. Rubert's chorus including the National Anthem. An ER Elementary parent, Specialist Michael Kurrasch, was the keynote speaker at the event. Two children of Veterans handed out roses to attendees during the assembly, and the local Cub Scouts performed the Color Guard.
The assembly was followed by a breakfast of donuts, bagels, fruit and more. We hope our Veterans, Active Duty Military, and Reservists felt appreciated.
