Assistant Principal Black shared, " [Eighth graders] I’ve watched you grow so much in this time, not only as individuals, but also as a group. Whether it be in the classroom, on stage, or on the athletic fields, I’m proud of everything you have accomplished, and you should be too. Though each of you have faced your own set of challenges throughout middle school, you’ve persevered, supported each other, and learned from your mistakes. As you stand on the threshold of high school, it’s natural to feel a mix of excitement and uncertainty. High school will bring new experiences, new friendships, and a new set of challenges, but I’m here to remind you that you are ready for whatever comes your way. You have the knowledge, skills and determination to be successful."
