Dear East Rochester School Community,

We are pleased to announce that the East Rochester Union Free School District 2026-2027 proposed budget of $33,913,788 was approved, with 292 votes in favor and 38 opposed.

Continuing with our longstanding philosophy we have aligned the district strategic plan with the structure of our budget work while maintaining our average cost per pupil, which remains at or below local and state averages for school districts

Additionally, Michael Sisson and Kristina Lantzky-Eaton were elected to serve three-year terms on East Rochester’s Board of Education, expiring June 30, 2029.
