Sam Urzetta Alumni Classic Golf Tournament

The East Rochester Alumni Foundation is pleased to announce details for the
2026 Sam Urzetta Alumni Classic
• Purpose:
o To bring Alumni together in an event based on the exceptionally strong ER golf tradition
o To raise funds in support of ER Schools and ultimately the greater ER community

• Date: Monday, August 3
• Location: Ravenwood Golf Club (RGC), an award winning facility with some of the best golf in the Finger Lakes region Ravenwood Golf Club
• This year’s tournament will be an 18- hole event. The cost per 4-person team will remain $600 and includes:
o Breakfast sandwich at registration
o Open golf range prior to start
o 8:30 AM shotgun start
o Awards for first 3 places
o Hearty lunch buffet
o “Visage GPS” installed in modern electric carts
o 4 - person team scramble
o Closest to the pin skill contests
• Other opportunities to participate

o Tickets will be available to purchase for Sam’s “targeted” raffle of major prizes
o Putting contest
o Team Mulligan purchase
• Adult beverages will be available for purchase directly from RGC

• We will offer $50 worth of raffle tickets (100 tickets) to anyone who recruits a new team that registers to play.

Working with Ravenwood’s expert staff, we will work to ensure a safe and truly enjoyable event.

Registration will open by March 1. Space will be limited to the first 34 foursomes to sign up with payment, so please register as soon as possible to secure your spot in this year’s tournament.
