The Culinary class at ERHS has teamed up with the Food Services team to create a fun meal for students in celebration of Cinco de Mayo!
Food Service Director Matt Cusimano and Culinary Teacher John Fee worked together to coordinate the joint project between the second-year culinary class and the Food Service department.
Students in the class used products provided by Food Services to help prepare Chicken Carnitas, marinating and searing the chicken before delivering it back to the kitchen. The kitchen then finished the cooking process and served the meal to students for a fun treat on Cinco de Mayo.
The meal was a hit throughout the building!
